Víctor Fresno


Víctor Fresno is Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Systems and Languages at the National Distance Education University (UNED), and member of the Natural Language Processing & Information Retrieval group (NLP&IR). His research activity began as a predoctoral fellow at IAI-CSIC, and then developed as a researcher at URJC and UNED. He enjoyed a post-doctoral research stay as a Visiting Faculty in the City University of New York. His research interests are focused on the study and proposal of models of representation of texts for their automatic processing and their application to problems of Automatic Classification, Grouping and Information Retrieval. He is currently focusing my efforts on the study of the semantic composition of the text and its application to different tasks.
