With a forward-looking perspective, it is critically assessing the already existing policies and institutions that are governing global politics and economics while targeting innovation. As a hub, it aims to bring together global thought leaders and key players from around the world to promote original and innovative perspectives on overarching challenges. It is seeking to understand and anticipate the major trends in global politics and economics while providing policy responses to them.

The Center, as an integral part of the School of Politics, Economics, and Global Affairs (SPEGA), offers executive education programs for public and private professionals. Programs are innovatively tailor-made and introduce the main challenges of global politics and economics. They actively introduce foresight methodology—mostly foresight and backcasting—into their content.
