Manuel Pérez Romero is Professor of Architectural Projects at the ETSAG of Alcalá de Henares since 2001 and has been Professor of Architectural Projects at the ETSA of Madrid between 2000 and 2001. He is also Professor of Technique applied to architecture in the IE School of Architecture. He has been a contributor to the Soriano & Asociados (Madrid) and FOA (London) studios.
He founded in 2002 node17 group and has been awarded numerous national and international competitions. Currently node17 group develops two lines of research divided into small scale and technical (has registered three patents); and the large scale based on an “adaptive urbanism”. An example of this is the recent contest won for a tourist city in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which is currently under development.
He has more than 100 publications in different books and magazines, as well as a monographic book about his work published by the Korean publishing house Damdi Publishing Co.
