Director of AI Bootcamp: from zero to hero
Nicolas Franco has been teaching for more than 20 years at the Polytechnic University of Madrid where he is an associate professor.
On the other hand, he is the technological director of the mrHouston group where he directs the programming (mrByte) and Artificial Intelligence groups (mrKeylock). For the last 20 years, he has been in charge of designing, coding, implementing and auditing all types of computer systems in a large number of technologies. For more than 10 years, he has been managing the Artificial Intelligence department of the same company where they have worked on developing information impact calculation models with NLP (ML) techniques and more recently with LLM models.
Nicolás completed a phD in Applied Physics at the LURE Synchrotron in Paris (Paris Sud - Orsay), and has worked in different laboratories in Europe (BESSY-Berlin, ESRF-Grenoble, ICMM-Madrid...) and the USA (ALS-Berkeley , SLAC-Stanford, NIF-Livermore).
