Welcome to IE Summer School - EU Students
If you are a citizen of a European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) country, preparing for your IE Summer School experience is simple.
EU students do not require a visa to study in Spain and since all Summer School programs last less than 90 days, no further registration with Spanish Authorities once in Spain is needed.
However, there are still a few practical aspects to organize before your arrival to ensure a smooth experience.
Before You Travel
Before travelling to Madrid, we recommend that you:
Ensure your passport or national ID card is valid for the duration of your stay. Â
Arrange your travel insurance if needed. Â
Bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or equivalent healthcare coverage.
