Summer Non-European Students

Welcome to IE Summer School - Non-EU Students

If you are travelling to Spain from outside the European Union, we are here to help you prepare for your arrival.

Depending on your nationality, you may need a Schengen visa to participate in your Summer School program. Since all IE Summer School programs are short-term, students who require a visa generally apply for a Schengen visa (up to 90 days).

Visa Support

Once you complete your enrolment, our Student Services team will provide the official documents required to support your visa application.

If you have any questions during the process, our Student Services team will be happy to assist you.

Please note:

  • Visa requirements depend on your nationality.

  • Applications can generally be submitted up to 180 days before your trip and no later than 15 days before departure.

  • Visa applications must be processed through the Spanish Consulate corresponding to your place of legal residence.
