Are you looking to study somewhere with state-of-the-art facilities? The new Creative Campus in Segovia is the place for you. This groundbreaking space is the latest addition to IE School of Architecture & Design’s portfolio, providing a unique blend of century-old history with cutting-edge technology.

Whether you’re starting a bachelor’s or pursuing a master’s program, the Creative Campus is where you can invest long hours in bringing your ideas and collaborations to life.

What facilities will you use?

The Creative Campus is built for cross-purpose functionality. The setup includes sewing labs, 3D printers, digital studios, and even bio labs for new material creation.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re testing a prototype, experimenting with fabrics or building a model. The tools are ready for you. “Everything you can imagine is here,” says Valerie Weiss, a Bachelor in Design student.

“It’s endless opportunity. You can basically do anything.”

You’ll also have your own studio space. “Everyone gets their own workspace. It’s open 24 hours a day,” explains Lucas Fröschl Nine, a Bachelor in Architectural Studies student. “We haven’t pulled all-nighters yet, but it’s great that we’re allowed to.” That flexibility means you can work on your schedule, not someone else’s.

How does the campus inspire you?

The design of the campus sets the tone for how you think and create. Open floors fill with natural light, and the historical architecture creates an atmosphere that keeps your ideas flowing. “It maintains its ancient history, and it’s still modern in some way,” says Ivona Vujovic, a Bachelor in Design student. “I love how the studios are organized. They inspire us. You feel like you belong somewhere.”

“I like the open floor plans—they fuel your creativity,” says Asia Sikiric, a Bachelor in Design student. “And the opportunities they’re offering here are amazing. Wes Gordon was here a few days ago. And Norman Foster—it’s crazy. I never imagined I would see them.”

For many students, the scale of the building is unexpected.

“The combination between new technology and old history is really interesting,” says Pavel Maria Ema, a Bachelor in Architectural Studies student. “Although it looks small from the outside, the interior is amazing.”

Who will you collaborate with?

The Creative Campus is all about collaboration. Here, you’ll work side by side with students from architecture, design and fashion—enjoying mix of perspectives that nurtures your own creativity. “You get the opportunity to see what your friend in architecture is doing, or what your friend in fashion is doing,” says Valerie. “It’s very refreshing.”

For Leyla Alakbarova, a Bachelor in Architectural Studies student, the experience creates a sense of belonging. “It feels like home at this point,” she says. “Considering the amount of work we have to do, we can easily spend the whole day here. It’s like our safe space.”

That spirit of connection extends globally. Though rooted in Segovia, the Creative Campus attracts talent from around the world.

This, in turn, shapes every project, conversation and late-night brainstorming session. “I studied in Japan for six months, and compared to that, this place feels really open,” explains Ryuta Nishi, also a Bachelor in Architectural Studies student. “We get to gather and meet people from so many professions and majors from all over the world.” Looking ahead, Raku Wakahara, another architecture student, sees even greater collaboration on the horizon: “I have the sense that in the future, the faculty and the campus will really work to connect programs more. This is just the start—it’s going to grow bigger and bigger from here.”

You’ll learn from professors with global experience who challenge and support you in equal measure, while collaborating with peers across architecture, design, and fashion. Every minute spent in the Creative Campus is a chance to stretch your creativity and see the world from new perspectives.
