The CGC launches Safer Tomorrow: Security starts with YOU(TH) Initiative
The IE Center for the Governance of Change (CGC) is excited to announce the launch of the Safer Tomorrow Initiative: Security starts with YOU(TH)!
This initiative will aim to better understand and respond to the growing security landscape. Its main objective is to raise awareness on the importance of defense partnerships in protecting shared values among the student community. It will also seek to engage this same community with an active participation in reflecting on NATO’s future Strategic Concept. Ultimately, the initiative will provide a space whereby defense and academia join forces to reflect on the future of international security.
It will consist on:
– A student challenge
– A half-day hybrid event on June 28th 2022
– A research paper
Are you a bachelor or master student interested in topics of defense, security and/or international relations?
Participate in the student challenge! It is voluntary, free and open to any student enrolled in a bachelor, master of PhD program in any university or academic institution worldwide.
It will reward the best papers that advance concrete recommendations (methods, processes, instruments) for addressing and responding to the security challenges of tomorrow.
