Antonio is known as the world’s leading champion of project management and strategy implementation. Alongside his full-time role at GSK, where he is currently Director of the Sustainability Transformation Program—and previously Director of their global Project Management Office—he is also Chair of the Project Management Institute. Born in Spain and having lived around the world, he was previously a Senior Executive for Fortis Bank, responsible for their integration with BNP Paribas and ABN AMRO. He received a Global Award from Thinkers50 for Ideas into Practice, and his books include The Focused Organisation and Harvard’s Project Management Handbook.
