Financial Aid for Executive Education Programs
Driving Talent Scholarship Fund
In response to the current health crisis, IE has launched DRIVING TALENT, a scholarship fund with an endowment of 2 million euros. Our goal is to support students who have been affected by the pandemic and the economic crisis deriving from it, with the goal of preventing them from having to cancel or delay their plan of joining an IE Executive Education program.
The creation of this fund reflects IE's strong commitment to promote excellent education for outstanding candidates from around the world, especially during this complex time that we are experiencing worldwide. We want to help you prepare for the future, embrace change, and push new boundaries. Despite the exceptional situation we are experiencing across the globe, now is the perfect time to demonstrate our ability to face uncertainty and turn adversity into opportunity. IE is fully committed, in these times now more than ever, to reinforce the profiles of its students with new skills and digital capabilities such as remote work, leadership of virtual teams, and resilience, which are already of great interest to companies around the world.
If IE Executive Education is the right fit for you, we aim to support you to help you become part of our community. Regardless of the complexity of the current global situation, together we will set a strong example of the individual and societal benefits of education.
The Driving Talent Scholarship Fund will support, through the concession of grants, those IE Executive Education candidates who have been significantly affected financially by COVID-19. We aim to support you in becoming a part of our community. Candidates completing their admission process, or those who have already been admitted for programs that have not yet started, will have to complete the ordinary scholarship application process.
Along with the requested documents, applicants must provide additional documentation attesting to unforeseen financial complications, such as reduction of income or additional expenses generated by COVID-19.
Grant recipients will receive financial support through a partial scholarship, intended to cover the cost of part of their tuition for the 20-21 course, thus allowing them to start their academic journey in IE. The aid received will be automatically deducted from the total amount of the tuition, and may not be used for maintenance, accommodation or transportation expenses.
Candidates currently in the process of admission, or those who have already been admitted to programs that will start in the academic year 20-21, must submit their scholarship application before the start of their programs, and no later than April 2021.
The Scholarship Committee will communicate its resolution via e-mail within 48 hours of receipt of the application, provided that the student has already been admitted to their respective program.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTSSCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Candidates may apply for scholarships 48 hours after having submitted their admissions application to one of our executive education programs. Applications will not be evaluated by the Financial Aid Committee until the candidate has a formal admission to the program.
It is important to carefully analyze which scholarships are the ones that best fit your profile before applying. Each scholarship has a series of specific requirements. In order for the Scholarship Committee to evaluate your application, you must prove that you effectively meet the established requirements.
The Financial Aid Office is at your disposal to help you through the application process and to answer any questions you may have.
APPLICATION PROCESSAPPLICATION PROCESS
In order to formally apply for an IE scholarship, please complete the financial aid application.
It is important to remember:
- You may apply for a maximum of three scholarships.
- IE Scholarships, granted through IE sponsors and other agreements, are not accumulative.
- IE scholarships do not cover the amounts corresponding to the place reservation, nor the IE Foundation donation.
- IE Scholarship funds are limited, thus:
- In addition to accrediting the merits that make you worthy of the selected scholarship(s), you will have to provide information about your financial situation. Between two candidates with similar profiles and merit, priority will be given to the one who certifies having a greater financial need.
- We highly recommend that students apply for financial aid as soon as possible, and always prior to the beginning of the program.

Thanks to the agreements signed by IE with various financial institutions, many of our students have access to student loans, which provide financing through attractive terms and conditions.
The Financial Aid Office is here to help and support you through the loan process by helping you assess and understand the different financing options that exist.
Please take into account that all final decisions regarding loan applications are made by the respective bank. Thus, we highly recommend that candidates submit their loan application with enough time to make further adjustments and/or seek out alternatives if necessary.
