Each student is automatically considered for our prestigious, merit-based awards during the admission process and no application is required.
Students that wish to submit an application for scholarships are encouraged to do so while their admission process is ongoing and always before the start of the program.
Additionally, we offer financing options and payment plans to further break down barriers and increase accessibility to our master’s programs.
Below you can explore the award and scholarship opportunities available for master's programs. The deadline for scholarships is the start date of the program unless otherwise specified. For all awards, no application is required. For all scholarships, financial need is taken into consideration, especially for talented candidates who demonstrate constraints in accessing alternative financing options, such as loans. Please note that complying with the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee a favorable resolution.
These merit-based awards are granted automatically to candidates upon admission without needing to submit a scholarship application. All admissions applicants are automatically considered.
These scholarships are open to candidates for all master’s programs and can cover 10-40% of tuition fees.
IE University collaborates with several partnering organizations to offer these scholarship opportunities. Please note that some scholarships require that you submit an external scholarship application.
IE University collaborates with several leading financial institutions to offer eligible master's students the opportunity to finance their education with a loan or through an income-share-agreement (ISA). Through these options, many students choose to fund part or all of their tuition fees, with some agreements allowing them to also cover living expenses.
It is important to first consider all your options, as there may be government and regional loans, grants or other options available to you in your home country.
Some of our partner institutions include:
In addition to scholarships and loans, we understand that the availability of payment plan options is important in making your program affordable. Our tuition payment plans allow you to break down your tuition balance into several consecutive uniform monthly payments, rather than paying all at once.
Our plans are interest-free, and do not require pre-approval or credit check. A one-time non-refundable administrative fee of 400€ is only charged when tuition payments are spread out over more than three consecutive months.
A number of students attend IE University with partial or full support from the organization they work for. Although this won’t be applicable to all students and is much more likely for students pursuing our part-time master’s degrees, it can be worth asking your employer about the possibility of supporting you to gain the advanced skills and training you will earn with a graduate degree from a leading university.
If you are employed by a company in Spain, your part-time master may be eligible for bonus training scheme (subsidized training) through the State Foundation for Training in Employment (FUNDAE). Speak to your Admissions Advisor to find out about this option.
