‘Santander X Training | Digitaliza tu negocio’ offers 3,000 spots to SMEs from 11 countries seeking to accelerate their digital transformation processes. It provides training related to digital skills, business areas, and technology.

Banco Santander, in collaboration with IE University, through IE Foundation, launches ‘Santander X Training | Digitaliza tu negocio’ program to foster the digital transformation of SMEs and help them enhance their competitiveness in the market. It offers learning pathways in areas such as digital skills, business, and technology.

Targeted at SMEs from 11 countries (Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain, USA, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, and Uruguay), the program offers 3,000 spots for training in key areas such as data-driven decision-making, cybersecurity, digital marketing, SEO, e-commerce, internationalization of digital businesses, or agile methodology.

The pathways, entirely designed by mentors and professors from IE University, last approximately 12 hours and provide a virtual environment with pedagogical resources in various formats: interactive tutorials, videos, expert interviews, podcasts, or tests. They will be offered in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, are 100% online, and do not require being a Santander client to enroll.

Furthermore, participants will have access to webinars on ‘Digital Transformation’ and ‘Best Practices in Digital Marketing and E-commerce’, delivered by IE University professors. Upon completion, a certificate will be provided to companies that have completed it within the estimated time.

The call for applications will be open until June 19th and can be formalized through Santander X, Banco Santander’s global entrepreneurship platform

According to Rafael Hernández, director of Santander Universidades, “the fourth industrial revolution is expected to impact all societies, sectors, institutions, and individuals. SMEs must prioritize their own digital transformation and be more efficient in their processes. These pathways provide valuable guidance for advancing quickly and safely towards a transformation that they will eventually have to undertake.”

“Constant innovation, adaptation to change, and leadership with positive impact enhanced by technology are key for today’s and future executives. We are delighted to collaborate again with Banco Santander in creating opportunities and scholarships that empower global business represented by SMEs.”
