Mexico Scholarships: the new Valentín Díez Morodo Scholarship Fund for Excellence will impact over 200 young mexicans
IE Foundation has recently launched the Valentín Díez Morodo Scholarship Fund for Excellence with the aim of empowering hundreds of talented Mexican university students to continue their higher education at IE University. The Fund is the result of a generous donation of 4.8 million euros from philanthropist and businessman Valentín Díez Morodo. These scholarships may cover up to 100% of tuition costs, as well as living expenses, depending on the economic needs of candidates.
The purpose of the Fund is to contribute to developing the full personal and professional potential of Mexican students, with the aim to train committed leaders with the necessary skills to innovate, promote new initiatives and, in short, generate a positive impact on society.
The Fund will offer 20 to 30 scholarships per year during 10 years to study full-time Master’s programs at IE University.
Candidates applying for this scholarship will need to demonstrate their experience, solid leadership skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and proactive membership in their communities, as well as show a strong commitment to the development of Mexico.
Beneficiaries of these scholarships will become part of the IE Foundation Fellows program, a recognition, and loyalty program of IE Foundation, that brings together a select group of both current students and alumni who have been recipients of a scholarship on account of extraordinary academic and extracurricular profiles. Through this program, IE Foundation Fellows receive personalized support and advice, full access to unique networking opportunities, and unlimited use of the IE Library’s extensive collection, which they can browse both before and after completing their program at IE University.
Thanks to the IE Foundation’s collaboration with Casa de México, scholarship recipients will also be able to enjoy events, masterclasses, and other exciting extracurricular activities.
