New Young Talented Leaders Scholarship Fund will impact the extraordinary talent of candidates from Central America
IE Foundation has launched the Young Talented Leaders Scholarship Fund for Central America, with the purpose of empowering socially responsible leaders and breaking financial barriers to higher education for students in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, y Panamá.
The Young Talented Leaders’ Scholarship Program for Central America was launched in 2023 to empower the best university talent in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, y Panamá who have completed their undergraduate university studies and want to continue their professional training with Master’s programs.
Its main mission is to contribute to developing human capacity and professional potential of Central Americans, and to develop socially responsible leaders who have the necessary skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in Central America, as well as to innovate and promote new ideas in multicultural environments.
This scholarship program has been made possible thanks to a generous donation on behalf of IE alumni as well as IE Foundation’s support. The program prioritizes low-income students to help them continue their professional training with a Master’s degree at IE University, and with the objective of building bridges between Central America and Spain.
Candidates interested in the scholarship must prove academic merits, solid leadership skills, entrepreneurial spirit and proactivity in their community, as well as a strong commitment to the development of Central America.
SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE
The program offers 2 scholarships per year for studies in the fields of international relations, social impact, and sustainable development through Master’s programs. The scholarships will cover 100% of tuition plus living expenses, depending on the financial needs of the candidates.
