The Space Industry Opens its Doors to Private Initiative

The space industry is currently worth around 350 billion dollars, with further major growth forecast. Avi Blasberger, Director General of the Israel Space Agency, talks to Isabelle Delacave, Director of Corporate Business Development at IE University, on the surge in interest in the industry from private enterprise, which is leading to the privatization of aerospace agencies across the world. Blasberger also talks about his vision of SpaceIL, the non-profit organization that put Israel’s first spaceship ‘Beresheet’ into orbit around the moon.
