Academic Director of IE's Anticipatory Leadership: Policy and Strategy for Disruptive Technologies
Aurelio is a seasoned government relations and technology advocacy professional with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of public policy, economic growth, and digital transformation.
He is the Head of Government and Policy Advocacy Iberia at Ericsson and previously worked at the External Affairs and Regulation team at Vodafone, he has led high-level engagements with the Spanish Government and the European Commission for technology programmes and policies both in Spain and the UE. Before joining Vodafone, he spent over fifteen years working on the design and implementation of public funding programs and policies. As a consultant, and later at the Spanish Chambers of Commerce, he contributed to national strategies that supported economic development, digital infrastructure, and innovation-driven initiatives.
With a deep understanding of EU and national policy landscapes, he specializes in policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
