At IE University, she drives both incremental and radical transformations in methodologies, formats, and programs, while challenging conventional ideas of what learning means in a disruptive context. Holding a PhD in Literature, she teaches audiovisual narratives and creativity, and researches on the concept of limit in contemporary audiovisual creations.

Academic ADVISOR

Miguel Costa brings a distinguished trajectory in international higher education with a career deeply rooted in academic leadership, student outreach, and institutional strategy. He serves as the Dean of Admissions and Outreach at IE University and as a full-time professor of Marketing.

Alongside his work at IE University, Miguel serves on the Board of The Common App (USA), supporting initiatives to promote access, equity, and integrity in the global admissions process. He is also the former Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Council of International Schools (CIS).

Miguel is a member of the Strategic Higher Education Advisory Council (SHEAC) at Cambridge International, the International Baccalaureate (IB) European University Council, and the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council.

He also actively engages with key international organizations such as the College Board, the IC3 Movement in India as a member of the Presidential Forum Committee, and the European Universities Consortium (EUC). Through these roles, Miguel actively contributes to global education forums. He serves as a respected voice in the international academic community, driving innovation and advocating for broader access and opportunities in global education.
