OVERVIEW

In a world that is growing more complex and uncertain, business and government leaders must navigate a volatile geopolitical landscape defined by political polarization, escalating trade tensions, global crises, climate challenges, and eroding public trust in institutions.

At the same time, emerging technologies are reshaping geoeconomic and geopolitical dynamics, transforming how organizations and governments operate on a global scale.

To make sound, forward-looking decisions, leaders must effectively analyze geopolitical trends and risks. Yet, many lack the time and expertise to stay ahead of rapid global shifts.

The IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs Global Policy Center’s ‘Geopolitics and Global Risks’ Executive Education Program empowers participants to navigate geopolitical disruptions, strengthen strategic foresight, manage risks, and make more informed decisions in an increasingly unpredictable world.

In collaboration with the Financial Times

This program is delivered in collaboration with the Financial Times, one of the world’s leading news organisations, internationally recognized for its authority, integrity, and accuracy. By combining the academic excellence of IE’s faculty and guest speakers with the FT’s real-time, global insights, this partnership brings an added layer of relevance, depth, and immediacy to the learning experience.

Participants will engage in exclusive panel sessions led by FT editors, together with top academics and industry leaders. These sessions bring theory to life through real-world case studies and timely perspectives on today’s geopolitical and economic challenges.

As part of the program, participants receive a 12-month subscription to FT.com, providing full digital access to trusted reporting and global business intelligence to support informed decision-making beyond the classroom.

Additionally, participants gain 12-month membership to FT Future Leaders, an editorially curated platform offering high-level virtual events, thought leadership exchanges, and exclusive networking opportunities with senior executives across sectors. This membership supports the continuous development of strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and global awareness.
