Hernan Huwyler is a director and recognized thought-leader in risk management and corporate compliance. He is currently based at Capgemini in Copenhagen, where he spearheads the creation of the AI Lab, an initiative dedicated to developing applied solutions in predictive risk models, legal technology, and AI governance.
With an executive career that includes leadership roles as a chief risk and compliance officer and senior advisory positions at ExxonMobil, Deloitte, ISS, Danske Bank, Canon Milestone Systems, GE, and Veolia, Hernan possesses extensive expertise across US and EU regulatory environments. He has successfully developed governance tools and frameworks across sectors including finance, energy, and technology.
An active academic, Hernan holds an MBA and CPA, has chaired research groups at global institutions, and frequently lectures on auditing, artificial intelligence, privacy, and corporate governance.
