This course offers a comprehensive and highly interactive deep dive into modern cyber incident management, equipping participants with practical strategies, decision-making frameworks, and cross-functional insights needed to navigate high-pressure, high-impact digital crises.

At the heart of the program is a realistic, scenario-based tabletop exercise, where participants simulate a coordinated response to an escalating cyberattack in real time. Through this immersive experience, they will move across the full lifecycle of a major incident, tackling legal, technical, operational, reputational, and regulatory dimensions as they unfold.

WANT TO KNOW MORE?

  • Explore the latest cyber threats and attack vectors, including AI-powered threats, third-party vulnerabilities, and geopolitical risk factors. Understand how evolving technologies and organizational structures impact risk exposure, and which corporate functions must align for effective mitigation.

  • Learn how to detect, escalate, and contain a breach under pressure. Topics include incident triage, engaging forensic experts, legal privilege strategies, early regulatory assessments, and building internal and external response teams, including executive and board involvement.

  • Navigate the broader response timeline, including ransomware negotiations, data leaks, public disclosures, media scrutiny, and multi-jurisdictional reporting obligations. Participants will learn how to balance speed, accuracy, and strategic alignment across legal, policy, comms, and operational functions.

  • Conduct a structured incident review, extract lessons learned, and build the foundation for governance reform, AI/data risk frameworks, and stakeholder trust recovery. Emphasis is placed on accountability, board reporting, human rights considerations, and ethical AI oversight.

Throughout the course, participants will benefit from expert-led case studies, peer discussions, and applied exercises, all designed to develop the agility and foresight needed to lead confidently during cyber crises. Special attention is given to global regulatory frameworks, ensuring attendees are prepared to act decisively across diverse legal, technological, and business environments.

By the end of the program, participants will have a clear, practical methodology for managing cyber incidents, reducing risk exposure, strengthening internal alignment, and building long-term resilience across their organization.
