Final Project

A vital puzzle piece in a student’s academic journey is what he does with the tools and knowledge learnt over the years. In their final year of studies, students submit a final project, which consists of a thorough study of any aspect related to the subjects covered during the degree and will give students the opportunity to apply and integrate the knowledge acquired throughout their career.

This experience helps the students reflect on various aspects of the discipline, create new knowledge that will give them the opportunity to contribute to the discussion of the discipline and also enrich their professional future.

The  purpose  of  the  Final Project  is  the  elaboration  and  presentation of an independent, original, thorough and individually elaborated research work on a contemporary question of international significance within the scope of the BIE program.

The BIE Final Project equals 12 ECTS, to be completed in the students’ last year.

BIE students can choose to write a Thesis, or joining a Capstone Project with an external partner.

For reference, please read through the BIE Capstone Information Presentation 23-24 to know more about the different possibilities and requirements for your Final Project.
