The Master in Design for Work, Retail and Learning Environments is a forward thinking post-professional program that not only examines the profound changes occurring in environments for work, retail and learning, but also explores the tools and knowledge needed to innovatively design these spaces for the future.

Work space goes a step beyond the office, where structure and behavioral patterns have changed dramatically in the last decades, adapting to the everchanging conditions of technology and organizational culture. New and innovative tech-based start-ups and established companies are handling new complexities including how we work, where we work, the technology we use, increased competiveness, new forms of communication, globalization, stakeholders’ expectations, sustainability and more. The IE program will provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to establish positive relationships between the design of the work space, business and the individual.

Retail Space is also going through a complete revolution due to technology and globalization that are transforming it into a networked and broader reality. Brands are being reinvented in order to adapt to the new multi-channel customer approach. The act of shopping has been converted into a fully emotional experience. Retail space goes beyond mere ‘shopping’ to include new public, meeting and leisure spaces. Consumer behavior is part of more complex human and social activities and this in turn affects the design of retail environments.
