How did IE help you get to where you are today?
IE was a turning point in my life, both professionally and personally. It gave me much more than an education—it gave me a way of thinking, a global outlook, and the confidence to pursue opportunities beyond my comfort zone. Being surrounded by such a diverse, ambitious and talented community challenged me to grow, to be bold, and to believe in my potential. But perhaps most importantly, IE gave me lifelong friendships and a true sense of belonging that has stayed with me ever since. Those relationships, together with the strong values of collaboration and giving back, have deeply shaped who I am today. They continue to influence how I lead, how I support others in their development, and how I stay connected to the IE community—closing the circle by contributing to the Careers Department and supporting new generations of students as they build their own paths with confidence and purpose.
What do you believe defines a strong alumni community, and how have you contributed to that vision at IE?
A strong alumni community goes far beyond networking—it is built on trust, generosity, and a shared responsibility to actively contribute to each other’s growth and to the long-term value of the institution. It is about showing up, giving back, and helping others succeed, knowing that this collective effort is what keeps the community relevant and strong over time. At IE, I contribute to this by staying actively involved as a collaborator with the Careers Department, professor, and mentor, supporting students in their transition to the professional world. It is a true honor to be part of IE in this capacity, and I find it hard to put into words the satisfaction I get from working with such talented LL.M. students. If anything, I feel I owe them more than they owe me—their drive, ambition, and curiosity constantly challenge me to grow and give my best. Through this, I aim to reinforce a culture where every member not only benefits from the community, but also feels responsible for sustaining and elevating it for future generations.
Can you describe a moment where your involvement directly helped another IE student or alumnus advance personally or professionally?
It is difficult to point to a single moment, because I see impact as the result of many small, consistent contributions over time. Through my classes, mentoring sessions, emails, calls, and mock interviews, I have had the privilege of supporting many IE students as they navigate important transitions in their careers. I approach each interaction with full commitment, aiming to provide not only practical guidance but also confidence, clarity, and perspective. I like to think that, in different ways, I have helped many of them better understand their value, refine their goals, and move forward with greater conviction. For me, what matters most is not one outcome, but the cumulative effect of being present and genuinely invested in each person’s journey. That is where I believe real impact happens—and what makes my involvement with IE so meaningful."
