KEEP USING YOUR IE GMAIL ACCOUNT AS AN ALUMNI

Your IE email account remains active after graduation, and you can continue accessing it using the same credentials you used during your time at IE.

Please note that:

• Email addresses under the @student.ie.edu domain will remain active after graduation and will become your permanent IE email address.
• If you already have an @alumni.ie.edu email address, it will remain unchanged and continue to be your official IE account.

To make sure you don't miss important communications from IE, you can forward your emails to a personal account. To do so, go to: Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP, then add the email address where you would like to receive your forwarded messages.

FORGOT YOUR IE ALUMNI USERNAME OR PASSWORD?

Recover my Username 

Enter the alternative email address associated with your IE account and click “Send” to receive your IE username by email. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder.

Reset Password 

Enter your IE email address, and we’ll send a verification link and password reset instructions to your registered alternative email address.

KEEP YOUR PROFILE UP TO DATE

Whether you've moved to a new city, changed jobs, or started a new venture, keeping your profile current helps us connect you with the opportunities that matter most—from local events and career resources to relevant alumni connections. And if you choose, fellow IE alumni can find and connect with you too. You can update your profile at any time here or via IE Connects. 

Once they have officially graduated, alumni may access IE campuses only under specific circumstances:

General Campus Access

Access to IE campuses is limited to official IE activities, pre-registered events, or scheduled appointments with an IE staff member. This policy applies to all campuses, including IE Tower, María de Molina and Segovia.

If alumni wish to pick up their official diploma, upon having followed the given process as explained in “How can I get my Diploma?”, may visit the Registrar´s Office in the corresponding IE campus.

IE Libraries

Alumni enjoy complimentary access to the IE Libraries at María de Molina 31 Bis and the Segovia Main Campus Library during their opening hours.

IE Alumni House

Located in the historic buildings on Calle María de Molina 11-13-15, Alumni House is your home on campus to reconnect with IE, access career support, collaborate, or simply relax in a space designed especially for our alumni community. Campus Tours

• Prospective students

If you or a family member is considering studying at IE, we offer a variety of Open House events and campus tours across our IE Tower, María de Molina, and Segovia campuses. For a personalized campus visit, you can book a Meet & Tour here. Or, if you prefer, you can register for one of our upcoming Open House events through this link.

• Individual Tours for Alumni

Guided tours for alumni are currently available only at IE Tower. To arrange a visit, please contact the Global Alumni Relations Team at alumni@ie.edu at least 48 hours in advance.

Alumni can access the physical IE Library at María de Molina 31bis in Madrid or at Segovia main campus during visiting hours (Monday – Friday 10 am to 8 pm). No advance appointment is necessary: just bring your DNI, NIE, or passport to complete the registration process.

Requests for diploma duplicates and official diplomas are managed by the Registrar´s Office. Please see below for more information on how to request these documents for Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctorate degrees. You may also visit the Registrar´s Office website for more information.

IE PRIVATE DIPLOMA REQUESTS:

IE Private Diplomas are handed out on graduation day (please note this is not the IE Official Diploma). If you did not receive on graduation day your IE private diploma, please request as follows:

Masters & Doctorate:

Send an email to: registrar@ie.edu, including your name, complete mailing address, a contact telephone number, and scanned copies of your ID or passport so that the IE Registrar´s Office may ship the diploma to your residence, with costs covered by IE.

Alternatively, if you wish to authorize another person to pick up your IE private diploma, indicate the name of the person and a scanned copy of his/her ID or passport. When picking up the diploma, the authorized person must present his/her ID with the signed authorization at the Registrar’s Office on María de Molina, 31bis, Mon-Fri from 10:00am to 7:30pm.

Undergraduate:

Within two months of your graduation, you may request to pick up your private diploma at the IE Tower by booking an appointment with: ieu.graduation@ie.edu. Please include your name, ID or passport number, and your IE program.

IE OFFICIAL DIPLOMA REQUESTS:

You can request your Official Degree Diploma by logging into the Registrar´s Office Service Website for Undergraduate and Master’s and Doctorate degrees. Upon submission of the request, the Registrar´s Office will begin the process of issuing your official diploma and will inform you via email once your diploma is ready. Please note that the issuance of the official diploma, from the Spanish authorities, will take approximately 10 calendar months. IE Official Diplomas can be picked up at the following IE Registrar´s Offices:

Master’s & Doctorate degrees:

María de Molina, 31bis, Madrid. Mon-Fri 10:00am to 7:30pm. No prior appointment needed.

Undergraduate Degrees:

By appointment only:

• Segovia Campus (Calle Cardenal Zúñiga 12, Segovia) Mon-Fri 9:00am to 6:00pm.
• IE Tower (Paseo de la Castellana, 259 E, Planta 12) Mon-Fri 9:00am to 6:00pm.

To authorize another person to pick up your IE Official Diploma, you must provide a notarized power of attorney, in compliance with Spanish Royal Decree 1002/2010, August 5th, about Official University degrees.

IE Connects is your “go-to” platform to connect with the IE Community. Expand your network through clubs and the Directory, join events worldwide, find career related resources, and many other exclusive services.

The IE Alumni Directory is a valuable resource for staying connected, expanding your network, and engaging with the alumni community. To access the online Alumni Directory, simply log in to IE Connects using your IE credentials and click on the "Directory" tab in the left-hand navigation menu.

Use the available filters to refine your search by region, programme, intake, graduation year, industry, company, interests, and more, making it easier to find and connect with fellow alumni.

Alumni are typically receptive to requests for guidance from fellow alumni, whether through IE Connects or a thoughtful LinkedIn message. When reaching out, consider:

• Introducing yourself and explaining why you’re contacting them.
• Mentioning specific aspects of their experience you’d like to learn about.
• Requesting a short conversation at their convenience.

Avoid asking for a job, internship, or referral upfront. Focus on building a meaningful connection first.

An IE Alumni is anyone who has completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at IE University, as well as selected Executive Education programmes that grant alumni status.
