Value Creation through Private Capital
The Private Equity program is aimed at both investors and business owners that wish to enhance understanding of the various stages of the investment process. Leading professors and industry specialists guide participants from opportunity selection to harvesting returns. With a focus on growth equity and buyouts, the program will also cover Private Equity as the driving force supporting management teams acquiring companies (MBOs, MBIs, and BIMBOs).
Open to participants from both sides of the investment process, investors and business owners will network while sharing in a unique and practical learning program.
PROFESSOR SPOTLIGHT
Managing Director at LINK Financial
Rafael is Managing Director of Operations, Strategy & Corporate Development at LINK Financial, parent company of LCM Partners, which he joined in 2003 to launch their Spanish operations. LINK is one of the leading funds in Europe investing in distressed consumer receivables and providing direct lending opportunities. Previously, he has worked for Bain & Company, Merrill Lynch and PwC, among others. Rafael has a BA in Business Administration and an MBA from INSEAD. He is professor of Private Equity in IE’s Master in Finance and Master in Advanced Finance, member of the advisory board for Spain & Portugal at Wolters Kluwer and member of the academic counsel at FIDE Foundation.

Companies that sign a Corporate Agreement are eligible for a 15% off the tuition fee for Executive Education programs for group of employees. Additional services and support may also be available for a Corporate Partner Agreement.
