About me

I was born in Belgium and have lived in Spain for 18 years. I speak Spanish, English and French and I am an alumni of IE Business School’s Executive MBA. I also have a Master's in Corporate Communication from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, as well as a degree in Communication Sciences from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium.

General Director of the IE Foundation

For the past twelve years, I have developed my career in the area of higher education, holding different positions at IE. I began as Deputy Director of Communication, responsible for national and international communication at IE University until 2017. Since February 2017 I have held the post of Director of the IE Foundation, leading a range of projects such as scholarship programs or impact initiatives. I also have the pleasure of coordinating a number of multi-sectorial projects at IE such as the Hay Festival Segovia or the Reinventing Higher Education conference, an initiative that brings together university presidents and rectors to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the sector.

I have also been an associate professor of Strategic Communication at IE University and for a couple of years I was executive director of the Global Senior Fellows Initiative program in the area of Executive Education: a pioneering training program for senior executives. On a personal level, I have a passion for international gastronomy and I love exploring the many special places to be found in Madrid and its wider region.
