Thanks to donations from top companies, many talented students can access higher education at IE University.

Casa de Mexico en España, in collaboration with Fundación Nemesio Diez, is an example of a company that is currently looking to create a meaningful impact on more than 20 student’s lives and professional paths. With a fund supported by Mexican businessman and philanthropist Valentín Diez Morodo, they aim to help hundreds of students achieve higher education at IE University. Last November, the IE Foundation team had an exclusive breakfast with representatives from Fundación Nemesio Diez and Casa México and many all of the scholarship recipients, who were able to express their continuous gratitude for the opportunities granted and to share their experiences as well as their vision of what 2023 will look like in terms of projects and career prospects.

Fotowatio Renewable Venture (FRV) has also committed to providing scholarships for talented IE University students. This multinational renewable energy company has fully covered tuition costs for various students of different nationalities throughout the years.

In early December, the Managing Teams of IE Foundation and IE Corporate Relations met with the managing board of FRV and two of the FRV Young Talented Leaders Scholarship recipients from Extremadura, offering them a very interesting tour through the IE Tower while discussing their common dedication to social change and students’ development. At the end of the visit, the representatives from both institutions came together to sign a new agreement for another Bachelor scholarship, to start on Fall 2023.

Last but not least, the Kistefos Young Talented Leaders Scholarship has the vision of removing existing financial barriers to education for high-potential individuals from Norway, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Liberia. At the end of November, the Kistefos Scholars had the opportunity to meet with the IE Foundation General Director, Geoffroy Gerald, and IE Foundation Scholarships Team to share their tips for career development, the impact the Scholars plan on bringing back to their countries after graduation, and their future goals in the short and medium term.

IE University, through the IE Foundation and thanks to the generous partnerships with these companies, hopes to continue working to support and positively impact the lives of these and many more talented students to come.
