IE Foundation and Fundación Mutualidad Abogacía launch the new family savings observatory
The observatory will focus its activity on data collection and the creation of indicators on family savings.
On May 12th, IE Foundation and Fundación Mutualidad Abogacía launched the Family Savings Observatory. This collaboration agreement will allow the development of research projects on the savings situation and financial planning of Spanish families in the medium and long term.
This research initiative arises with a double objective. On the one hand, to raise awareness in the Spanish society of the importance of the culture of savings and financial planning. On the other hand, to provide instruments, indicators and valuable knowledge that help institutions and financial authorities to design policies and strategies with the aim of promoting responsible saving behaviors and the achievement of a better economic distribution of savings in society.
