The IE Library launches its new website with a strong focus on technology and innovation
The Covid-19 pandemic has forced individuals, institutions, and businesses to adapt to unexpected challenges in a time record. We live in a changing and liquid world, where education remains critical in helping people build resilience, pursue happy lives, and forge successful careers, and where we have hybrid lives as interconnected global citizens.
In this context, the IE Library has proven its resilience by offering the best possible digital learning experience in a new format to the IE Community.
Since its creation, and thanks to our donors, IE Foundation is able to support the IE Library in its mission to provide services and resources for our whole community while also benefiting society. Additionally, beyond serving our community, the IE Library seeks to offer outside groups and organizations access to its resources. To do this, the Library acts as a meeting place between cultures, opening its doors to various charity, leisure, and cultural activities.
With strong roots in innovation and cutting-edge technology, the IE Library took a step ahead and enhanced its virtual and digital profile throughout 2020. The IE Library’s impressive design goes along with new features such as accessibility adjustments, which make the new web all-inclusive as they allow the user to edit colors, fonts, content… specially oriented to those with any kind of visual impairment, or those who want to customize the space and make it more personal.
Moreover, the new website also includes new sections, like the one for Events & Trends, which includes all the relevant events happening at IE where the Library takes part, and trends where IE Library is involved with the IE Community and its partnerships.
At IE Foundation, we are delighted with this new website that not only represents all IE’s values but also the beginning of a new era.
