IE University and Fundación Casa de México en España join forces to foster cultural leadership through a transformative scholarship
Madrid, June 4th, 2025 – As part of a shared commitment to strengthening cultural ties between between Mexico and Spain and to support the development of outstanding talent, Fundación Casa de México en España and IE University, in collaboration with IE Foundation, announce the launch of a new scholarship aimed at experienced Mexican professionals in the cultural sector. This strategic alliance reflects both institutions’ shared commitment to training leaders who will apply their knowledge to promote cultural development in their communities after completing the program.
The scholarship is designed for professionals seeking to enhance their competencies and impact within cultural institutions, and to advance their careers in key areas such as exhibition management, public and educational programs, conservation, restoration, communication, and cultural programming.
Scholarship Details
The Fundación Casa de México en España Scholarship Program, under its Talent Development track, will cover the tuition fees of the Cultural Management Leadership Program offered by the IE School of Humanities of IE University. This program provides an innovative, hands-on learning experience designed to prepare cultural sector leaders to become agents of change. Participants will develop a strategic mindset and acquire key skills in leadership, financial management, sustainability, team building, innovation, and emerging technologies.
As part of the academic journey, participants will take part in intensive in-person sessions at IE University’s Madrid campus, combined with online learning, and will complete in-person curricular internships at leading cultural institutions in Spain.
