Tresmares Capital, with the support of Banco Santander through Santander Universities, and IE University through IE Foundation, are launching a scholarship program called Tresmares Scholarships. The program is aimed at executives from the Spanish SMEs with the most potential for growth. The program seeks to accelerate these companies’ business growth, using academic training as a driver of change.
Tresmares Capital is an independent financial platform that makes direct investments—either with its own capital or through tailored financing schemes or conventional debt products—in companies characterized by stable and sustainable future growth. Tresmares Capital has identified 1,000 SMEs in Spain with the greatest potential to become future leaders in their sector.
Tresmares Capital’s aim is to provide consultation and be present throughout the business’s lifecycle, for the benefit of its shareholders, managers and employees.
Funding, Registration and Program Content
The Tresmares Scholarship program is endowed with a fund aimed at financing 70% of the cost of training programs for the candidates who pass the selection process.
Tresmares Capital and Banco Santander will grant, through IE Foundation, up to 25 scholarships in three rounds. The first round will be launched on October 15th and will be open until December 2, 2020. Candidates can register through the SantanderX platform.
Once registration has been completed, the selection committee, made up of representatives from Tresmares Capital, Santander and IE University, will evaluate the received applications according to the professional experience of each candidate, their motivations and the future growth potential of the company.
Tresmares Capital, together with IE University’s executive team, has designed a portfolio of programs for executives (Exponential Learning) focused on challenges such as management and leadership, digital transformation, data and technology management, marketing and sales, talent management, financial or legal challenges and other areas such as family business challenges or sector transformation.
