How IE University can support those affected by DANA
The IE community comes together to offer support and solidarity to those impacted by the recent DANA phenomenon across Spain.
The recent DANA weather phenomenon has left thousands of people across Spain, mainly in the Valencia region, facing immense challenges. At IE Foundation, together with the IE community, we extend our deepest sympathies to those affected, people who have lost loved ones, their homes, and everything they hold dear.
In times like these, coming together as a community to support those is important. Here are a few ways that you can contribute to the ongoing relief efforts:
Donate to the Red Cross
The Red Cross has been leading the rescue efforts, providing vital aid to those affected. Financial contributions help fund essential resources like food, shelter, and medical assistance. Visit the Red Cross donation page to contribute.
Every donation has the power to make a significant difference.
IE Charity Club and Student Government
The IE University community has long demonstrated an unwavering dedication to solidarity and humanitarian aid. Here is how you can contribute to relief efforts:
- IE Charity Club and IE University Student Government Fundraising Drive: Students will be collecting donations for the Red Cross, along with essential supplies such as non-perishable food, clothing, and hygiene products. Bring what you can to IE Tower (main lobby) and María de Molina 31 (courtyard) from Nov 4th – Nov 7th.
- Volunteer to Transport Supplies: Help deliver supplies from IE University campuses to collection points. For further details, please contact IE Foundation: iefoundation@ie.edu.
Donate Supplies Directly
For those wishing to donate items directly, here is a list of updated collection points throughout Spain.
Together, as a community, we can make a difference.
