Santander IE Aid to Education Fund

Santander Bank through Santander Universities and the IE Foundation are pleased to launch the Santander IE Education Aid Fund, benefitting 15,500 educators and young professionals worldwide. The Fund will offer scholarships for training in digital transformation to boost skills needed to respond to the new global landscape generated by the impact of the current pandemic.

The collaboration between Santander Universities and the IE Foundation stems from a shared desire to have a positive and far-reaching impact on education in light of the current challenges posed by the expansion of the Coronavirus. The aim is to provide effective, high quality support for educators and students that responds to real world challenges and facilitates a shift towards a greater digital environment.

The Santander IE Education Aid Fund follows two comprehensive formats: On the one hand, the 10,000 beneficiaries of the scholarships for educators and the 5,000 young professionals will participate in an Online Learning Journey (online courses that encourage autonomous learning); and on the other, the 500 students awarded scholarships to participate in IE’s High Impact Online Programs will have the chance to participate in an intensive, specialized program.

The scholarships are structured into three programs:

SANTANDER IE ONLINE LEARNING JOURNEY FOR LEARNERS

SANTANDER IE BEST PRACTICES IN DIGITAL EDUCATION FOR EDUCATORS
