A Culture of Making

Alternating theory and practice is an ideal approach to practically any form of learning. The learning-by-doing methodology enables students to develop skills and get a critical vision of the work done. To this end, the IE School of Architecture and Design seeks to prepare students for the new challenges of a changing world. David Goodman, Associate Dean of the School, discusses a temporary exhibition that shows how this culture of learning-by-doing helps future architects and designers understand how to match their projects to real-life needs.
