The different monetary policies conducted by central banks, mainly the European Central Bank (ECB) and the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed), to deal with the recent economic crisis have had very different effects. Rafael Pampillón, Professor of Economics at IE Business School, considers the consequences of this divergence and how to undertake economic policies that uniformly produce improvements on a global scale.
