Program Director of Arts-Powered Leadership
Victoria M. Bamond, PhD, is a senior higher education leader with over 20 years of academic leadership experience, holding a PhD in Humanities (Cum Laude) from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She earned both a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and holds executive certification from Harvard Business School. She brings extensive experience leading international and multicampus teams, driving curriculum innovation, and advancing institutional strategy and internationalization. A committed mentor and advocate for leadership development, she supports emerging talent through programs such as Moving Upwards with AmCham Spain, Powertocode - Technovation Girls, and Mujeres Líderes en Educación. She is also Co-founder of BB Education Consulting, reflecting her entrepreneurial leadership in advancing strategic growth and innovation in the education sector, alongside broader engagement in organizations promoting education, research, and women’s leadership.

Who teaches in the Arts-Powered Leadership Program?
The Arts-Powered Leadership Program is led by a faculty combining expertise from IE Business School and the IE School of Humanities. It is academically directed by Cristina Simón, Professor of People Management at IE Business School, and Daniel Valtueña, Humanities Adjunct Professor and Arts & Culture Lab Director at the IE School of Humanities.
