The Global Senior Management Program follows a dynamic, five-month blended format, combining flexible online modules with two high-impact residential periods in Madrid and New York City. This structure offers maximum flexibility while allowing participants to engage in high-impact learning experiences, network with global peers and apply insights directly to their business context.
Delivered by IE Business School’s faculty of academics and industry practitioners, this program integrates cutting-edge business insights, technological innovation and humanistic perspectives. Pre-Program Module (Optional)
Prior to the core program, participants may choose to complete a self-paced online module designed to strengthen their foundational knowledge in key management areas. This module covers the essentials of strategy, marketing, operations and financial accounting—ensuring all participants begin the program with a solid grounding in business fundamentals.
Leadership Development Plan
Embark on a Leadership Development Plan alongside the core program, ensuring a dual focus on personal and professional growth tailored to each individual's journey. Participants will use powerful diagnostic tools to assess their unique starting point and leadership profile. Guided by a Senior Advisor, participants will then engage in reflective conversations to identify their strengths and gaps, and then co-create a tailored action plan to elevate their leadership to the next level.
Impact Project
The Impact Project is a core feature of this program. Participants apply their learnings to a strategic initiative that is relevant to their own professional contexts. Whether advancing an organization’s transformation goals or launching a new entrepreneurial venture, participants will receive personalized guidance and feedback from senior faculty, ensuring each project delivers tangible value and immediate real-world impact.
The Reflective Leader: Humanistic Perspectives for Executive Decision-Making
In this module, engage with powerful, thought-provoking ideas from different areas of the humanities, such as philosophy, history, anthropology and sociology to reflect on leadership in today’s complex, fast-paced business environment. By taking a step back, participants will gain a broader perspective, deepen their contextual intelligence and explore the ethical dimensions of leadership, sharpening their ability to make decisions that are not only strategically sound, but also human-centered, sustainable and aligned with long-term impact.
