This study conducts a large-scale replication of prior research on the scientific approach in entrepreneurship, analyzing 759 firms across four randomized controlled trials. The findings show improved idea termination decisions and nonlinear effects on radical pivots, suggesting that scientific reasoning enhances search efficiency and fosters methodic doubt in entrepreneurial experimentation.
