Welcome to IE School of Arts & Humanities

An education built for a complex world

IE School of Arts & Humanities is where education meets the demands of a fast-moving, tech-driven world. History, philosophy, literature, art, culture, and language are the tools we use to understand and act in a world shaped by technology, geopolitics and cultural change.

Our students learn to read complexity, interpret systems and apply judgment across contexts where technical knowledge alone is not enough. They operate across fields, connecting with business, technology, law and design, and graduate with real-world cultural intelligence.

Our network: global cultural partnerships

IE School of Arts & Humanities operates as part of a broader cultural and institutional ecosystem, working alongside leading cultural and educational institutions to connect humanistic inquiry with real-world impact. Students engage with curators, policymakers and cultural leaders, working on projects that sit at the intersection of societal change and the humanities.

Through collaborations with UNESCO, Guggenheim Bilbao, Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, Instituto Cervantes, the CHCI and more, our students gain direct access to the institutions where the humanities are practiced, debated and applied.

Why the arts & humanities, why now

For as long as humans have existed, we have faced complexity. The disciplines that study how people think, what they value, and how they make meaning: philosophy, history, art, literature. These are the tools we use to navigate it.

In an era of rapid technological transformation, those disciplines matter more than ever. That is the foundation of IE School of Arts & Humanities.
