A large crowd of people engaged in a career fair with various booths.

IE Talent & Careers welcomed top employers to the IE Tower for the fall edition of the university’s flagship recruiting fair.

IE Talent and Careers hosted the Fall Edition of the IE Careers Forum, the university’s largest biannual recruitment event connecting students with more than 100 leading employers across a diverse range of industries, from technology and consulting to finance and global impact.

Organized by IE Talent & Careers, the two-day forum in late October offered students the opportunity to explore career paths, network directly with recruiters, and gain firsthand insight into hiring trends shaping the job market. Through company stands, interactive sessions, and informal conversations, students engaged with representatives from multinational corporations, startups, and NGOs eager to attract top talent from IE’s global community.

Diversified Industries and Technology

The first day of the IE Careers Forum Fall 2025 focused on diversified industries and technology, bringing together leading multinational corporations and innovative startups to connect with IE students across all programs. Held at the IE Tower, the event featured over 100 recruiters from sectors such as technology, consumer goods, hospitality, and industrial engineering. Global companies including Amazon, Salesforce, SAP, TikTok, L’Oréal, LVMH, Airbus, Marriott Bonvoy, and Acciona were among those present, offering insights into career opportunities and future trends shaping their industries. Through a mix of informal networking and one-on-one conversations, students explored diverse professional paths, from tech-driven innovation to brand management, digital marketing, and operations.

Enrique Peñalba Ortega, Director of Operations of Talent & Careers, while organising the event he described it as a cornerstone in the university’s mission to bridge education and professional growth.

"The Careers Forum is more than a recruitment fair, it’s an experience designed to help students learn, connect, and grow," he said. "We’re not just creating a space with booths and recruiters; we’re building a community where students can practice, network, and take the first step toward their professional future."

Among the companies attending was Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, represented by Carlos Jesús Lorente Valverde, who highlighted the hotel’s close relationship with IE University and its confidence in the quality of its graduates.

Lorente noted that IE students consistently embody the values the brand looks for, excellence, teamwork, and responsibility, and praised the university’s global reputation for cultivating exceptional talent.

"IE is one of the best universities in Spain and, in my opinion, in the world," he said. "For one of the best hospitality brands globally, it’s the perfect place to find future leaders."

As the group continues its international expansion,  with over 43 hotels worldwide and plans to reach 100 in the coming decade,   opportunities for IE students are growing across departments such as human resources, finance, sales, marketing, and events.

Another global employer present at the forum was Ryanair, represented by Juliana Martínez, Talent Acquisition Specialist for the airline’s graduate and internship programs. Attending the event for the first time, Martínez emphasized Ryanair’s ongoing collaboration with IE University and the strong alignment between the company’s values and the profiles of IE students. She explained that the airline is seeking candidates across diverse areas, from marketing and commercial management to IT, finance, and legal,  for its international graduate program based in Dublin.

Martínez noted that IE students stand out for their motivation, open-mindedness, and global perspective, qualities that mirror Ryanair’s dynamic and multicultural environment. She added that while the company values technical preparation, it prioritizes energy, curiosity, and a genuine willingness to learn. "We value motivation and the willingness to work above all," she said. "Being open-minded and ready to collaborate with people from around the world is what makes the difference."

Among the many IE students attending, some have already turned the connections fostered by the forum into real professional opportunities. Victoria Fenart, a fourth-year BBA student currently interning at L’Oréal, shared how her experience has confirmed her passion for the company and the industry. Having joined the corporate team in July, she has worked across influencer relations and innovation projects aimed at making operations more efficient and sustainable.

Fenart described her internship as "fast-paced but incredibly rewarding," noting how well-integrated she felt within the team. She credits IE’s support in helping her secure the role and develop the confidence to thrive in a global organization. "Once you catch the pace, it’s super fun," she said. "The experience has been amazing, and I can absolutely see myself coming back to L’Oréal after graduation."

Consulting, Finance & Global Impact

Building on the momentum of Day 1, the second day of the IE Careers Forum turned the spotlight on consulting, finance, and global impact. It brought together firms and professionals shaping some of today’s most competitive and fast-evolving fields. Participating companies included EY, PwC, Mastercard, Santander, Aon, BNP Paribas, BBVA, Strategic Gears, Chubb, Banco de Crédito del Perú, Global Regulation Management, Allianz Accenture, and many more.

It couldn’t be any better,” he said. “Yeah, it’s definitely something that I was really looking forward to the last month since I know that I was able to represent my company here. We see IE as one of our hiring universities where we like to hire from.”

Also representing Carlsquare was Pascal Stelzl, Associate and IE Master in Management, Finance & Investments graduate, Class of 2021, who credited the university’s community and diversity as key advantages. Another IE alumnus in attendance was Salvador Mompean, Associate in Asset Management at Greystar and IE Dual Degree student in Business Administration and International Relations graduate, Class of 2019. He introduced the company’s new graduate program launching in the coming weeks. "It’s designed to provide an insight into the three departments of the company—investment, asset management, and development," he explained.

Mompean highlighted the alignment between Greystar’s values and those instilled at IE. "One of the key things that IE taught me was the international mindset, and that’s something we really value at Greystar as well," he said. "It’s always great to be back and see how much the event continues to grow."

From the consulting sector, BPI Learning was represented by Alonso Otarola, Learning Consultant, who emphasized the firm’s focus on people-driven transformation and its long-standing relationship with IE, noting, "We are always looking for the best of the best, and we know IE is the place where we’re going to find really good candidates."

"We need people who can structure a business problem, create a solution, and work with clients to make it happen," he noted. Praising IE’s diversity and global mindset, he added, "We’ve worked with amazing professionals that come from here, so we cannot ignore it."

From hospitality and aviation to consulting, finance, and real estate, students connected with industry leaders and alumni who are shaping the future of work. As the event continues to grow each year, it reaffirms IE’s role as a hub where ambition meets access and where students take the first step toward building their professional journey.
