A word from the Dean
I would like to thank you for your interest in IE School of International Relations.
Whether you explore the school website or ask members of the widespread IE community you will reach the same conclusion, namely that selecting IE for your undergraduate or graduate studies in international relations is the first step in a successful strategy for your professional and personal development.
IE School of International Relations has two privileged campuses - an urban campus located in the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Madrid, and the 13th century Santa Cruz La Real Convent in the world heritage site of Segovia (25 minutes from Madrid by high-speed train).
The School is dedicated to teaching, researching and reflecting on world affairs. Hence it serves to spearhead IE's international projection in line with our firmly held belief that global awareness now plays a pivotal role in the success of both public and private sector initiatives. IE's student body comprises over 100 nationalities, while 45,000 IE alumni hold international leadership positions around the world. These facts, coupled with the diversity of our faculty and international content of our programs make us one of the most international academic institutions in the world.
The overriding mission of IE School of International Relations is to shape internationally oriented professionals for excellence, achievement, and leadership in an increasingly complex and multipolar world. We design and run courses on international politics, international economic and business environments, regional studies, skills, languages and fieldwork experience, providing a unique insight into both the opportunities and challenges which result from increased international cooperation.
IE School of International Relations provides all the ingredients for success in an international career. Should you decide that IE is the right place to pursue the knowledge and professional skills you will need in a dynamic and changing world, the extent of your contribution to society and professional success will depend solely on your commitment to achieving them.
But don't take our word for it - find out for yourself.
