Masa Inakage

Founding Dean and Professor of Keio University Graduate School of Media Design

Masa Inakage is the founding Dean and Professor of Keio University Graduate School of Media Design. He has been active as media designer, creative director and producer, as well as strategist. Inakage leads and advises various academic and professional projects using his expertise in entertainment design, story thinking, and user experience design. Projects are diverse, ranging from academic exploration of innovative concepts, for-profit innovative products and services, to non-profit social change. He sits on advisory board and executive board of numerous corporations for corporate innovation strategy, as well as has served as members of government committees. His works have been shown internationally at galleries and festivals, including Museum of Modern Art in NYC and Ars Electronica Center in Linz, Austria. His current research interests include Affective City, post-Internet of Things, Social Entertainment, Collective Creativity, Storytelling, Creative Global Leadership, and Design Innovation Strategy.
