Enrique is a Compliance Officer and a practicing lawyer in Spain and England and Wales. He has developed a large part of his professional career in senior management positions in multinational companies in the telecommunications and technology sector with special dedication to the establishment of robust compliance programs and risk prevention and management of legal and corporate governance issues in complex environments. He has led values-based cultural transformations and advised on new ways of running businesses replacing the conventional management hierarchy with power distributed throughout the organization.

Enrique obtained an MA in International and Comparative Business Law from London Guildhall University (now London Metropolitan) (1993). He studied a PDD (Management Development Program) at IESE (2002) and obtained a Certificate from IE Law School in Blockchain: Legal Implications (2018), a Certificate in the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Program from Saïd Business School (University of Oxford )) (2018), a Certificate in Digital Currency from the University of Nicosia (2019), a Postgraduate Degree in Blockchain from BITBCN (2019), has a FT Non-executive Directors Diploma (2017) and has completed leadership and transformation programs in Stanford and INSEAD. He currently teaches courses on business ethics and on blockchain in different programs at IE Law School.
