  • Rocío Pillado

    Rocío joined Adara Ventures in 2013 after finishing her MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and became Partner in 2018. Previously, Rocío worked at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (SGCIB) within the Trading & Sales department, in the New York and Hong Kong offices. She worked as a project leader and software engineer, designing and building trading software. Earlier in her career, Rocío worked in France in the cybersecurity field. Rocío is also the cofounder of, the leading website in the Spanish language about MBA and other graduate programs.

    Apart from her MBA, Rocío holds an engineering degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from the french École Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées and a MSc in Cryptology, Security and Information Coding from the Institut Fourier.

  • Nicholas Goulet

    Nico is a founder and Managing Partner of Adara Venture Partners since 2002. Nico has managed Venture Capital investments in high-tech companies for the last 20 years. During this period he has been actively involved with more than 40 early stage ventures and served on the board of 30 companies, totaling more than 100 years of tenure, mainly in early stage technology ventures. He obtained a BSc degree (Aerospace Engineering) from the École Centrale de Paris, an MSc (Aeronautics & Astronautics) from MIT and an MBA from INSEAD. He is a private pilot and an advanced aerobatics competitor.

    Jose Miguel has extensive international experience (Europe and the US), and as a serial entrepreneur he has founded, co-founded and otherwise led numerous technology enabled products and services companies including LaNetro. In addition, he has managed a US Nasdaq company.  Keenly aware of the challenges facing early stage companies having been there himself numerous times, he is passionate about helping them achieve success. José Miguel received his BSEEC and MSEE degrees from Santa Clara University in California and his MBA from Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
