“Coming from an “only letters [humanities], not math, please” background, I understand courses such as Python, Math & Stats, Machine Learning etc., can sound scary. But the teachers play an essential role and what they are teaching me, beyond coding, is not to give up on myself. To learn to lose the fear of failure and confront a big screen full of code with bravery and an open mind. This last part has been the most surprising, because coding requires creativity and audacity. The Data Science Bootcamp has been a real leap of faith, moving out of my comfort zone and into the unknown. It has proved to be a valuable learning experience.”
