PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The Advanced Leadership Program in Healthcare follows a unique hybrid learning format, that combines the best of online and face to face learning, ensuring high-level flexibility that is compatible with your professional activity. This allows you greater flexibility, wherever you are based. The program, in its entirety, will run from February 20th, 2024 to June 7th, 2024.
Face-to-face sessions will take place in London at the King’s College London Campus between February 20th - 23rd, 2024. The program’s second in-person period takes place at IE University’s installation in the heart of Madrid for in-person sessions from June 4th - 7th, 2024. In both cases, classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. CET.
Online sessions will take place every Monday from March 2024 to June 2024 between 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CET, with the exception of April 2nd, 2024.

PROGRAM CONTENT
The Advanced Leadership Program in Healthcare aims to equip leaders within the healthcare sector with the knowledge, skills and practical capabilities to drive transformation in a rapidly changing sector. Through our comprehensive curriculum, you will be better prepared to understand and leverage various digital transformation and innovation models, develop inventive strategies that enhance health outcomes and patient experiences, and expand your ability to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
Through a unique combination of online and face-to-face teaching, IE University and King’s College London have joined forces to create a program that focuses on strengthening current skill sets and imparting new ones that will shape leaders who can influence transformation in any organization.
This curriculum features various modules, designed to take you on a deep dive into several key areas, including:
LEADING WITH FORESIGHT
In this module, you will master the skills required to interpret global trends and gain insights into the future. You will study various foresight methodologies, including the what-if scenario analysis (WISA) technique. What’s more, you’ll become immersed in the different megatrends impacting healthcare worldwide and broaden your understanding of international policy and broader societal trends and how they affect advances in medical treatments and technologies, healthcare economics, innovative business models and the workforce.
VALUE CREATION IN THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY
You will understand the value of strategic vision and gain the roadmap to healthcare transformation in this module. Not only will you learn how to shape compelling narratives that resonate with your teams but also how to lead to the effective implementation of game-changing strategies. This module will also hone your ability to both identify growth opportunities and leverage them successfully to boost profitability. Faculty members from King’s College London will lead you through the various levers of value creation as well as the emerging opportunities in healthcare. In the end, you will master collaboration and teamwork skills that will help you create and deliver greater value to both society and your organization.
LEADING CHANGE WITH PURPOSE AND INFLUENCE
We understand that leaders can only achieve impact if they have a clear vision and a well-honed capacity for influence. In this module, we will equip you with the tools to nurture innovation, manage organizational resistance and lead teams to adopt change. By discovering the keys to influence and persuasion, you will learn how to create legitimacy, project confidence and command attention. By the end of this module, you will become a purposeful leader who can negotiate effectively, build consensus towards mutually beneficial goals and nurture winning alliances that lead to overall organizational growth and transformation.
