PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The Advanced Leadership Program in Healthcare follows a unique hybrid learning format, that combines the best of online and face to face learning, ensuring high-level flexibility that is compatible with your professional activity. This allows you greater flexibility, wherever you are based. The program, in its entirety, will run from February 20th, 2024 to June 7th, 2024.

Face-to-face sessions will take place in London at the King’s College London Campus between February 20th - 23rd, 2024. The program’s second in-person period takes place at IE University’s installation in the heart of Madrid for in-person sessions from June 4th - 7th, 2024. In both cases, classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. CET.

Online sessions will take place every Monday from March 2024 to June 2024 between 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CET, with the exception of April 2nd, 2024.

PROGRAM CONTENT

The Advanced Leadership Program in Healthcare aims to equip leaders within the healthcare sector with the knowledge, skills and practical capabilities to drive transformation in a rapidly changing sector. Through our comprehensive curriculum, you will be better prepared to understand and leverage various digital transformation and innovation models, develop inventive strategies that enhance health outcomes and patient experiences, and expand your ability to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

Through a unique combination of online and face-to-face teaching, IE University and King’s College London have joined forces to create a program that focuses on strengthening current skill sets and imparting new ones that will shape leaders who can influence transformation in any organization.

In this module, you will master the skills required to interpret global trends and gain insights into the future. You will study various foresight methodologies, including the what-if scenario analysis (WISA) technique. What’s more, you’ll become immersed in the different megatrends impacting healthcare worldwide and broaden your understanding of international policy and broader societal trends and how they affect advances in medical treatments and technologies, healthcare economics, innovative business models and the workforce.

You will understand the value of strategic vision and gain the roadmap to healthcare transformation in this module. Not only will you learn how to shape compelling narratives that resonate with your teams but also how to lead to the effective implementation of game-changing strategies. Faculty members from King’s College London will lead you through the various levers of value creation as well as the emerging opportunities in healthcare.
