Juan Antonio Just Masip
In 2006 we founded the telecommunications service installation company INDEA INGENIERIA DE SOLUCIONES, which has been a success from the very beginning. In just a few days we were working for companies such as Vodafone, Jazztel, and Alcatel. In 2013, betting on evolution in this sector, we founded GIGA NETWORK SYSTEMS, a regional operator in Valencia that provided services to companies in the hospitality sector.
In 2015 we partnered with the company Netlla and developed a new hospitality business division. With its success, we founded the holding company Nethits Telecom Group, with companies dedicated to the hospitality sector in Spain and Mexico. We also acquired Carrier E-Mobile, the company that owned OMV Hits Mobile. In 2018, focusing all our expertise on the digital transformation of hotels, we founded Cerium Tecnologías, with a focus on cybersecurity and data experience as fundamental pillars of our solutions program.

Juan Antonio Just is the CEO of hi s company in the technology sector, a sector in which he has extensive professional experience. Taking the Digital Law and Contracting Program allowed him to broaden the services he offers his clients in the legal/technological field, as well as allowing him to offer them 360-degree advising on their digital transformation projects.
Why did you decide to further your education at IE?
I wanted to expand my legal training, but focusing on the technology side, which is the sector my company works in. I had taken a master’s degree in digital law and new technologies, but it didn’t examine certain aspects in depth that are fundamental to me, such as technology contracts. When I heard that IE offered the program “Legal for Digital Business Transformation”, I knew that it was the perfect complement that I had been looking for, and the program has exceeded all my expectations.
Do you think that your time at IE has changed your focus in your career?
Doing this program hasn’t changed my career focus, but it has helped broaden my focus from a commercial and business perspective, complementing it and giving me a broader, more updated perspective on all the contractual possibilities in the technology sector. This has allowed us to expand the services we offer our clients in the legal/technological field, as well as allowing us to offer them 360-degree advising on digital transformation projects.
What is your current professional status?
I’m the CEO of a technology company, CERIUM TECNOLOGIAS S.L. We design, implement, and integrate technology and cybersecurity networks, and are very specialized in the hospitality sector. Our headquarters are in Valencia, and we have offices in Madrid, Seville, the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands. Internationally, we have offices in the Dominican Republic to assist our clients in the Caribbean, as well as our own company in the U.S. (Cerium Technology Inc.) for the American market. Given this scenario, knowledge, scope of possibilities, and security in terms of technology contract evolution are essential to us, and this program has given me that.
What is the most valuable lesson you learned during the program? Do you have any inspiring stories you’d like to share with your classmates?
I loved the program’s learning model. Working with real cases and in groups provides a more realistic perspective and allows you to implement what you’re learning. During the program, I could see that since the business sector is changing at the speed of light, driven by the digital transformation of companies and markets, the law must also work against the clock to adapt. This program dedicated to technology contracts was the perfect tool for understanding and adapting to these legal changes, which are now a reality. Moreover, in my case, as these legal changes are combined with technological changes in my sector, the pace is even faster, and therefore the risks of not being efficient are even greater; that’s why this training has been fundamental for me.
I don’t know if it’s inspiring, but the truth is that these programs make training very effective and put it within reach of any professional who wants to adapt to the changes that today’s digital transformation is demanding. Regardless of your educational background or age, it’s within reach of anyone who wants to specialize and update themselves.
