About me

From a young age, I’ve had the opportunity to experience other languages and cultures. This forced me to use language correctly and appropriately to communicate ideas, requests, to ask questions and answer them. This was the reason I decided to study other languages. I decided to study law and I discovered international trade. Today, I continue to grow professionally, and I continue studying to finish my project, which started last year.

International management of a company is a very far-ranging, complex activity. In my case, the years I spent working at a multinational company and my personal interests led me to choose Supply Chain Management, which requires a solid foundation in international taxation for import and export transactions that require tax payments, or maybe your company wants to invest abroad.y exportación que generan el pago de unos impuestos, o quizás tu empresa quiera invertir en el exterior.

Why did you decide to further your education at IE?

I had heard good things about the school’s quality of education, and I found the perfect program: the Global Taxation Executive Program, hybrid format. It seems like it was tailor-made for me: the program’s subject matter, the school, the time of my life.  It was the perfect combination.

Do you think that your time at IE has changed your focus in your career?

Without a doubt, going to classes with professionals in the subject matter, exchanging opinions, even in the hybrid format. In my case, it’s helped me focus more and decide which area of foreign trade I want to continue improving and growing in.

What is your current professional status?

I’m currently working for a German supply chain management consulting firm.

What is the most valuable lesson you learned during the program? Do you have any inspiring stories you’d like to share with your classmates?

I’ve learned a lot of lessons, and choosing just one is difficult. I’ve been very lucky to take classes from outstanding professionals in the field and with my classmates.  From all of them, I’ve learned that when you love your profession, the sky is the limit. You communicate with excitement; you motivate yourself and others.  All the stories from my classmates, my professors, from the IE staff have served as a foundation to inspire me and help me achieve my dreams.

It’s never too late to change, to continue learning, to give yourself second and even third chances. Thanks to IE for this transformative experience, both professionally and personally.
