El Ritmo de Casa Común

El Ritmo de Casa Común redefines luxury as a collective condition rooted in shared infrastructures for dance, rest, and recovery within Nave 15 at Matadero Madrid. The project proposes a three level domestic system: a communal recovery landscape with thermal pools and kitchen at ground level; a vertical maze of wooden platforms functioning as a collective living room for rehearsal and social exchange; and acoustically insulated housing units integrated beneath the roof trusses, connected to rooftop platforms for gathering and contemplation. Through layered circulation systems of ramps, stairs, and suspended paths, movement becomes both domestic ritual and spatial choreography. Luxury is no longer defined by individual consumption, but by shared access to spaces that sustain bodily practice, creative exchange, and communal life
