Careers in Context Series with Tine Milz, Co-Director of Theater am Neumarkt in Zurich

IE School of Humanities had the pleasure of hosting Tine Milz, the Co-Director of Theater am Neumarkt in Zurich, for two dynamic sessions about contemporary performing arts. In Segovia, part of the Careers in Context Series, she engaged with students from the Bachelor in Humanities and the Dual Degree in Business Administration & Humanities. Tine shared her diverse educational background, which combines fine arts, political science, and economics, and has led her to her role in theater leadership.

Her visit continued at IE Tower in Madrid, where she engaged in a roundtable discussion moderated by Natalia Álvarez Simó, a former director of notable cultural institutions such as Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque and Teatros del Canal.

The discussion tackled significant topics in today's cultural landscape, such as changing audience behaviors, the influence of digital technology, and the evolving roles of cultural institutions. This dialogue provided meaningful insights into the future of the performing arts and their relevance in an ever-changing environment.
